ABOUT ME

I am the daughter and granddaughter (on the maternal side) of Italian immigrants who came to Venezuela, in search of a better life. That, which their own country could not provide, yet, ten years after the end of World War II .

 

Thankfully, the devastation has been long forgotten. Yet, it left an indelible impression, not only on the generation that left Europe chasing their dream, but the following ones, who lived between the two waters, like mine.

Oddly enough, over time, I also became an immigrant myself, But, as my grandmother used to say: "five-star immigrant."

The coexistence of nationalities, first at home and then abroad, shaped my way of thinking.

As the saying goes "a picture is worth a thousand words"...
